🦎 My Most Anticipated Release of The Summer!!🦎

    My most highly anticipated Sapphic Romantic Suspense of the Summer is Kathryn Nolan's Thrill of The Chase. a Rivals to lovers, mile-a-minute adventure, sizzling, slow-burn, Eve and Harper are out in New Mexico looking for two separate things really. Of course they're both looking for the diamonds lost at the turn of the 1900's, but Eve is there for the whole story.

This gorgeous Sapphic Romantic Suspense keeps both women at bitter odds at the beginning. Harper assumes that reporter Eve is only there to do harm the same way all paperazzi has done her entire life, and Eve cannot understand why Harper won't give her a chance if she's been honest with her (mostly 😉!) 

When they're chasing each other through the desert, and ending up on the same interviews, and it's apparent no one wants to trust them - either of them (it's not just Eve!) I found myself frustrated with Harper, why she wouldn't just agree to help Eve, but you have enough information to know that's not in the cards, and it's not fair to Harper or her family. 

There were so many beautiful pieces to this book, so many "tiny revolutions" for both Eve and Harper, I cried tears of joy and tears of sadness. I wanted the win for both of them immediately, but Eve and Harper have some growing to do, and Kathryn's words as she shows us their growth are absolutely masterfully laid out.

 I am thrilled that this Sapphic Romance doesn't put the adventure on hold for the steamy, sexy times, although they're definitely there, it's just that it's never the entire point of the story. I wanted an adventure, and a Historic story telling that regaled me with a love from another time, that showed that Queer Love has always been here, and it's just gotten a little bigger and bolder as time has gone by.

Kathryn thrilled me with this story that made me want to keep digging, and left me with a book hangover that has taken days to get past. Thrill of The Chase is definitely a five star read, Eve and Harper will keep you on your toes through the whole thing, and you'll find even more than you bargained for!
