🤠❄️Duke and Wheeler are a couple made in Cowboy heaven!❄️🤠

     Y'all, Jessica Peterson's DUKE is the SWEETEST of her Cowboys so far, I think. He has the best empathy, every time I think of him I think of serious golden retriever vibes. He loves Wheeler so much from the very beginning, not that he's not looking forward to the Sexy times, it's just that he always wants to be there for her, even before he knows about the pregnancy. When he meets her family, Duke totally has her back - he and Haines (her brother) are absolutely there to make sure the other two alpha-holes (Tim and Preston - why does one ALWAYS have to be named after my ex-husband,lol!!) don't drag Wheeler down in the mud with them, but Wheeler has grown so much by then she definitely doesn't get sidetracked by them.

Wheeler is definitely one of my favorite FMCs of Ms. Peterson. I love that she can write someone who wants to be out in the country, but not TOO country ya hear? She and Mollie have got to make sure there's room for some city in their lives, and I totally understand this because it's how I feel and how I felt when my kiddos were at home. I absolutely needed to live that country life, but be able to escape to the city once in a blue moon. And Mollie and Cash are such wonderful friends! 

How Lucky (pun intended) could they get with the Luck - Rivers families right there to have their backs when they needed it? I love, LOVE the way Jessica writes Mollie and Cash encouraging Wheeler to take the big steps she needed to stay by Duke's side. And Ryder man, what a sweet boy. I say boy, and I know he's not, but listening to him talk to Wheeler about treating Duke right, and talking to Duke about always being his person - I got so teary eyed. Jessica writes in such a soft-hearted, special way. I just adore them all.

I picked up the Audible last night, and I already know it's going to be a gem, because there's nothing like the 5 stars in the Lucky River series, and their Audibles have been some of my favorites this year, so if you enjoy Audible make sure you've picked up Duke this week too!!
