🖤✨️ Exquisitely Angsty, It Made Me Cry!!✨️🖤

     For being 802 pages, The Choosing Chronicles really flowed well. I was in love with Brynleigh from the beginning, and I really enjoyed the way the characters got to know each other. Ryker's determination to really KNOW each of the contestants, but then totally falling for her was so sweet. 

I will say I skipped Jelisettes short story in between the duology. I had NO desire to get to KNOW her any better, I already detested her and I wasn't interested in a love story involving her.

The second part of the duology really flew by, and I was happy to know Ryker wasn't any different than he seemed at the beginning. I would say more, but that would ruin it for everyone. Just know it does get down and dark for both of our main characters for a while, as it should. The angst is absolutely EXQUISITE.

I adored the secondary characters, River, Anton, Nikhaela, and the light fairy and the dragon shifter that are also in the Choosing, they are all brilliant. I'm not even reallll mad at Zanri, Brynleigh's Shifter friend who hurt her so badly (you'll see why.) There are just so many aspects that made this a god tier book for me, I hope you'll give it a chance!
