❤️‍🔥 Spine-Tingling, Keep You Awake After Bedtime Romance Thriller!!❤️‍🔥

    It has taken me a couple days to write this review, and not because Whispers and WILDFIRE is not a good book, but because it is THAT FRICKIN AMAZING!! Claire Kingsley kept me up two nights in a row back to back, and had me closing the book at certain chapters because I haven't met an antagonist who jump scared me that much in YEARS. But on to the real WOW that I felt with these protagonists, Ms. Kingsley had my jaw on the floor!!

Melanie is one of my favorite characters ever, spicy nice is the best thing ever and pickles!! And there was a part that made me cry, that I felt such a kinship with her. She's just an absolutely amazing woman, and drop dead sexy as well! I loved her outside voice AND face, and I loved how she stood up for Luke and protected him even on their bad days. Melanie has loyalty for days.

Luke is, well Luke. I love his 'need for speed', but I could tell from the very beginning that wasn't really what he was chasing. So many of us chase that adrenaline rush because we're missing someone else, and Luke definitely is. How does someone fall in love with a voice? He had my heart falling from the very beginning, I love, LOVE that grouchy man with the cinnamon roll underneath that's so sweet to his family I could just get a toothache! There are so many parts where he gets right where Melanie needs him to be in the moment, it was just fabulous. 

Y'all, the mystery in this book? Claire Kingsley has firmly placed herself in my top of 2025 so far, I was glued to this book for two days in a row. I absolutely could not put it down! Talk about an elevated heart rate and the shivers, this bad guy of Claire's is a bad guy for real, he's angry, ignored and most of all someone you'd completely miss even if he was standing right next to you. Ms. Kingsley did an excellent job getting in his head in a way I've not read in years, and has me anticipating the next Romance Thriller she comes out with because the Havens has been one of my favorite series of hers by far.

The Havens series, and ESPECIALLY Whispers and WILDFIRE, does an amazing job of bring the heat, the family, and the spine-tingling keep you awake way after bedtime words, definitely a 5 star read!!
