๐ŸŽ SAWYER is Definitely Giving CASH A Run For His Money in This 5๐ŸŒŸ Cowbow Romance! ๐ŸŽ

Jessica Peterson's SAWYER might be my favorite in her whole Lucky River Ranch Series!!  I'm just blown away by how each book just gets better and better, and how much more I love each of the couples!

Sawyer and Ava meet at a bar in Austin, both of them pretty much dragged there by their siblings who've told them over and again that no matter what they think they DO deserve to have a good time and maybe meet the person of their dreams. When Ava's sister bumps her hard into Sawyer, Ava thinks she instantly must be dreaming - this guy has his hat on backwards, he's got the sexy mustache, PLUS he starts looking for something to clean the beer stain off her shirt. Sawyer is bowled over by Ava and her freedom, her sense of humor, and the fact that she doesn't totally lock up on him after he suggests taking her back to his place. They have the BEST TIME before Ava tries to leave without waking him up the next morning. She's certainly learned those guys that are AWESOME during that one night will let you down and hurt you in ways you couldn't have even imagined.

When they get set up on a play date with their girls MONTHS later back in Hartsville both Ava and Sawyer are wondering how long they've both been here without tripping over each other, and all the usual questions. Then when Sawyer shows up with his daughter at the new preschool and Ava's there too, Sawyer takes that as a sign from the goddess above. He can keep trying to avoid Ava, or he can see what happens when he asks her out for more play dates!

"I’ve waited my whole life to feel this way, but now that it’s happening, I feel unprepared. It’s so much better than I could have imagined. So much more of a mindf***."

I adored Sawyer's kindness, all that he continually gave back to his family, amd once he and Ava were involved all he did to put her first in their relationship, even when he was exhausted as hell. Seriously, if those kinds of guys are out there then I need one for my daughter!

Ava is just a doll all through her and Sawyer's playdates with the girls, and even when things really start heating up again. She's doing everything she possibly can to make Sawyer take a break whenever she can get him to. It's obvious he's given so much to his family before, she doesn't want him to feel like he has to give it all up for her to, but on the other hand she keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop, and the real guy behind Sawyer's kind face to show up.

“You just—you let me be myself. You like it when I’m myself. You pay attention and you take care of my needs and you …” I sigh. “You never judge. You make me feel like I’m a whole, complete person. Not some half-baked mess of things I need to change or work on.”

I love, LOVE the way Jessica Peterson uses the side characters, in this case Duke and Wheeler, a lot to help Sawyer and Ava see where they need to be in their communication, it just never makes me feel like one or the other is getting ready to get up and go, or that either of their family couldn't handle a night with a toddler.

SAWYER has it all from the SMOKIN hawt sexy time, the fun with adults time, and even the fun with littles time. Sawyer and Ava MAKE time to communicate with each other which as a woman I'm sure is always a plus, but even when Ava's ex was being a jerk, Sawyer tried let Ava handle it like an adult before he took him aside for a little chat.

This book is definitely a 5 star Cowboy Romance, giving Cash and Mollie a run for their money!!
