   Kylie Scott's Because The Night is FABULOUS!! 

I LOVED the way Skye was an angry newborn vampire after she was at first all "I'll do whatever he wants me to do, he's ever so handsome!!" Skye's description of Lucas and his earlier way of dress, his jawline, his hair and his blue, BLUE eyes are so on point, I just love the way they talk to each other from the very beginning.

What is even more fun is her relationship with Henry and Benedict, the way they talk to each other is so much fun. Henry is definitely from this era, but Benedict is so far behind that Henry is continuously trying to catch him up, and using little bits of humor here and there to keep him interested. 

I love Kyle's relationship with Lucas, it's so much as if they're in another time frame, and I understand how old Lucas is, bit he's lived through all these other times, and shouldn't he be able to teach Kyle how to be a brand newborn vampire? It's as though he ignores all those pieces of her that she doesn't yet understand. 

I will say that I wish this book was a duology, because I feel as though there are large unfinished pieces that I would LOVE to see more of Kyle and Lucas as a couple, and also I feel as though there are big pieces of the story of the family left to be told that would just be so very enjoyable!!
