     Brynne Asher's ILLICIT had me totally enthralled with Rocco and Teagan from page one!! Iykyk that Rocco and Teagan have been teasing each other for a good long while, but the way Brynne writes, I honestly thought maybe there was someone else for each of them - silly me!!

Leave it to Teagan to completely wake Rocco up out of the blue in the middle of a case he doesn't even care very much about - until RIGHT NOW, when she decides she cares all about it! And does her Daddy have any idea what she's doing?? I kept waiting for the other three brilliant Agents to swoop in long before they did, and tell on her!

Rocco is just trying to do his job, gtfo of New Orleans and back to Miami, and forget that there was this girl once that ghosted him like no one's business. But, he's going to have to see her at every family meal, event, birth, etc. And he may never really get over her. Then there's that kiss!! That kiss proves that neither of them has ever moved on, no matter what Teag says. 

Holy ZOMG, y'all! ILLICIT moves in so many different directions, and so fast that if you're not paying attention you might miss it! The entire family together with all the Agents, waiting for Sammie to do her thing and trying to keep Teagan in Miami. 

I love the friendship and sweetness between Rocco and Teagan. She's continuously trying to show him that he has worth, and that it's not just as one of the Agents. The smexy times are just smooth, this is not a he falls first - but maybe a he never fell out of love in the first place? How do you explain a guy that's been waiting on her this whole time? He's just too sweet, and Teagan knows she can't escape what they're both feeling. 

The surprise about 3/4 of the way through I never saw coming, and it absolutely blew my mind! This proves how much Tim loves Rocco, and how far The Agents will go to help protect him.

The Bonus epilogue made me cry, and Cole Carson is, as always, a welcome addition to the team! If you haven't read the entire Agents Series, nows the time to start!!
