🔥 CJ & Lennon Light the Night in Maggie Gates Fire Line!!🔥

Ahhh CJ and Lennon (Chef Maddox!) Fire Line took me a little while to get into, probably because throughout the series I've thought that CJ was just too grouchy for me (hah, I've never found one too grouchy for me!) and at the beginning I was just a little confused. Don't worry, I went back and read it again, and got the full picture.

Lennon is one of my favorite FMCs in this series, and she definitely takes up all her space in Fire Line. I'm in love that she does not step back in her kitchen, she does not allow anyone to talk down to her, not even CJ when he comes in to fix the tilt sink. I was impressed that CJ took a look around and got the bigger picture, and corrected his own bad behavior then and there. She's also SEXY as FIRE! Lennon might have some pretty scary stuff going on in the background, but every time CJ comes on to her she gives as good as she gets. The very first scene in the pool hall? *WHEW*

CJ is the youngest son, and he's decided he hates all the growth going on around the ranch. He hates the restaurant, the lodge, etc. It doesn't matter if it might save the ranch he plans on living on until he dies, the restaurant is ruining his sunrise every morning. Once he figures out Lennon is the head chef, he decides he's going to give her grief until she leaves, except he's given the same ultimatum. He can suck it up and find a way to be friendly, or find a different ranch. And this is coming from his brothers, what the heck? Don't they know all the work he's put in to save the ranch, and that he gave the ultimate sacrifice?

When CJ finds out Lennon's secret one cold, muddy night everything changes. He finds himself watching out for her to make sure she's safe, except Lennon is definitely NOT safe. Feelings are changing between both of them, Lennon doesn't understand why he's doing all that he can for her, and CJ finds the ice thawing around his heart. Especially when it comes to Lennon, and the Restaurant.

Fire Line is an excellent end to the series. I love the emotions between CJ and Lennon, and the care given to Lennon from the entire Griffith family. They make it clear she's welcome on the ranch, and that there's no reason for her to leave, as long as they can figure out how to keep everyone safe. The Griffith Brothers has been one of my favorite series this year, and finding Maggie Gates has been an absolute treasure!
