💜✨️Emotionally Intense, Second Chance Romance! ✨️💜

    WOW, CROSS ROADS is a doozy emotionally that starts at the very beginning and doesn't let up all the way through. I loved it, Indya and West are really special characters that just spoke to my heart, and I was pleading for them to end up together in the end.

CROSS ROADS is told in first person POV from the point of both characters which I always love, and Devney Perry also has Indya and West having flashbacks of their childhood from the time Indya first came to Crazy Mountain Cattle Resort at 8 years old. Unfortunately she hears Curtis tell West he has to play with her, which West at 11 thinks is the most boring thing ever and she decides she doesn't ever want to hang out with West anyway.

Indya is back in Montana at Crazy Mountain Cattle Ranch on an errand for her father, and once West finds out her purpose he wants absolutely nothing to do with her AGAIN.

This is all fine because Indya is busy, so busy she doesn't know which way is up. Renaming the Ranch to Haven River Ranch, fighting the chef for a totally new menu and fighting her ex-husband who wants her to fly back to Texas to sign some papers.

West is spending his time taking care of the Cattle, and the Ranch side of things, being totally surprised when Indya goes over his head to hire three high school boys to help with fishing, cleaning, and the trail rides. He's also busy defending Indya every time a disgruntled member of staff talks down about her, or even his Dad; although why he would when he's the one who sold the ranch to her, one would never know.

Watching Indya's childhood with her father is just more and more emotional, and I found myself in tears more than once and seeing West's fight against his fathers refusal to allow him to help or make changes at the ranch is just so frustrating I could scream.

When Indya and West finally let their guard down into that explosive first kiss, it's just chef's kiss! Perfection!! I thought here we go they're going to be fine, but no this is just the beginning and there are so many more hard emotions to go through.

I loved CROSS ROADS, every single piece, it's just such an emotionally beautifully hard book. I cannot WAIT for Jax's book, and to see what else happens with Jax's feelings toward Indya, his brother and his Dad.
