♡♡♡First Love is ooey, gooey perfection!!♡♡♡

    Aiden and Chris are absolute sweethearts that reminded me of Cam and Royal in Let There Be Light, except more laid back for the most part.

Chris's sweet, sunny California style helped make him the best kind of guy. So laid back, but still nervous about this sexy, science guy he's had a crush on since forever. His ability to center himself, and explain to Aiden how he stayed so calm - talking about restructuring his time and building in free time, time for his friends, etc. I thought that was awesome for one so young, and just seemed to perpetuate Chris's Zen like attitude. 

Aiden is so sweet, but seems so lost, and anxious so much of the time. Not even anxious, but sincerely unhappy even though he thinks he's trying to do the right thing for his family at home.

I was concerned when Aiden and Chris got so hot and heavy, emotionally so quickly. I was worried they would burn out, but Author A.M. Johnson never stears you wrong, even if there might be a little more angst on the way to an amazingly satisfying ending!!

Chris and Aiden are perfect for each other, and their friends and family are so understanding with some pretty heavy conversations  - I don't know that I would have felt comfortable being able to talk about being out or not at that age, but their kindness is so comforting and makes everyone in the situation feel safe.

Author AM Johnson makes me swoon with each character she writes, the love, and sometimes sadness she pours forth on the page. If you're looking for a book that will heal your heartache, and give you a good time, Glow Up is THE book for you!!
