🖤 Shawn is Bellamy's perfect foil!!🖤
I have known for years that Bellamy was going to require a PERFECT MATCH, but how to find one he wouldn't run roughshod over or get bored with too quickly?
Jessica Gadziala gave us the answer in Shawn. Her wit, street smarts, and sarcasm are a perfect foil for Bellamy's constant flirtatious banter, and over the top flamboyance.
Shawn was once a street kid, wholly ignored by her drug addled mother, and never quite knowing where she belonged. When she was rescued by her Aunt and Uncle she was already almost an adult, and there was not much they could do to change her cold, standoffish behavior.
Bellamy is the Fixers Executioner. He's the man Quin calls when there's a situation that can be fixed no other way. Even though he gives off an air of the wealthy, flirtatious, affable man, there's a dark side to him that he uses only when Quin needs him.
Shawn and Bellamy have really gotten into it this time, Bellamy was sent by Quin to end a certain mark when he runs headlong into Shawn trying to do the same thing, and when they both thought they were in the clear, Bellamy felt like it was time to play. Shawn, on the other hand, was ready to do serious damage to this man she'd never met, who seemed determined to hold on to her until she answers his questions. Bellamy just doesn't understand that Shawn can be just as devious and underhanded as he is, but he WILL LEARN.
The suspense, and sexual tension throughout The Executioner was OFF THE CHAIN!! Holy yum, every time Shawn and Bellamy were in a room together it seemed their clothes fell off!!
The rip roaring roller coaster ride in the last few chapters was out of this world! I could not imagine Bellamy reacting the way he did, and Shawn was seriously the most dangerous weapon in his arsenal at that point. It seriously made my heart pound, and my head spin!!
A walloping 5 stars for Bellamy and Shawn in The Executioner, I can't WAIT to see what Jessica Gadziala has in store for us next!
