So, SO MUCH LOVE for Natasha Madison's Only One Night!

This is the first of Natasha's hockey series I've read, and it did not disappoint!

Evelyne as the heroine is absolutely believable as a sweet, kind, but strong young woman trying to put her life back together after discovering her long term relationship and business partners had all been in bed (literally) wither each other, and hid it from her for YEARS.

Manning, the Captain for the Dallas Oilers Hockey team is miserable in his marriage, but has decided to bide his time until his son is old enough to use his voice to legally choose where he wants to be. Manning's wife is verbally and emotionally abusive, having tried her hardest to separate him from his family and friends, all in the guise of "keeping up appearances." She even went so far at one point to refuse to allow his mother and father to stay at her home, because according to her Manning could afford to put them up in a glitzy hotel, and so of course he should because "what would people think?" Manning no longer knows what his next steps even need to be, he just knows he feels lifeless.

This book had so many pieces where I was cheering for both Evelyn and Manning, and hoping his estranged wife would get what was coming to her, but NOTHING could have prepared me for the steps Manning took to regain control and protect himself and his child.

A true rollercoaster ride into 2021, excellent writing, brilliant plot and the side characters are out of this world! I was so thrilled to see them stand by Evelyn and Manning, and see some really strong male friendships not based on how hard they could trash talk the women in their lives, but instead how they could support their friend and show him they were with him 100% of they way!

4.5 stars for this fun, strong, super romantic third installment in Natasha's Only One Series!
