🖤✨️ Masterfully Written Dark Romance!!✨️🖤

Cinna & Dav are absolutely masterfully written by Jessica Gadziala, and I am so glad that this book finally gives us the chance to see them shine together.

Cinna has been one of my favorite Capo's, most likely because it's so rare to see a female one in JG's Mafia Romance. Her snark and the push back she gives against Renzo (politely, of course), how well she stands up next to the men, she just has it ALL. When the book opens in such a violent way, and Cinna is bearing the brunt of it all alone, I was so worried for her, but at the same time should have totally known she was going to kick a$$ - even if she's dragging herself through it more and more injured.

Dav is known as being the fun loving, gregarious, loves ALL women, but has always had a thing for Cynna while I imagine her with her boot on his chest, pushing him away each time. But this time Dav is the one Cinna needs the help from, and somehow she knows he won't make her tell Renzo immediately. As they get closer Cinna stops pushing Dav away, but is it a relationship of convenience, or does she really feel something?

Renzo is one of my more favorite Mafia Family leaders, because rather than doing nothing and ignoring Cinna and Dav's disobedience, he definitely made a point. But he doesn't treat her as a weak woman that needs to be watched over, he simply disciplines as he should.

Need Him Like Oxygen is one of my favorite by Jessica Gadziala this year. I love the dark themes, and the love, and kindness shown throughout. I really needed one where the violence shines through, and at the same time the guy is trying so hard to romance his forever girl.Cinna & Dav are the perfect dark theme couple!! 🖤🖤🖤
