Nico is such a JERK at the beginning of this book, he's previously called Ivy names, who knows why - probably his own insecurity and not wanting her hanging out with his little sister Bianca because he thinks all the social media attention is bad for her. When he walks into the bar and sees Ivy downing a drink, knowing her problems with alcohol, he just becomes even more of an a$$ in that situation.

Ivy shouldn't have bombed the last of her martini, she knows that, and now she's suffering with the rash, and red face that comes from her sensitivity to alcohol. She's not drunk, even though Nico would like to make it look that way, and drag her out of there again. She's just trying not to be sick in his car, in front of the very pretty opera singer he's suddenly found to bring home. 

When Ivy gets attacked in her fashion warehouse, Nico and the Archers give her their protection and move the warehouse to their location. Nico and Ivy have a very sexxxxy hate smex scene in her apartment that quickly shows some of Ivy's past issues with a past lover that made me want to cry for her. 

After this point Nico is showing who he truly is by being protective, and sweet, and even says in his thoughts after a certain point that he knows he's in love with Ivy. But there is so much danger swirling around him with the De Luccis and the De Rossi's and this man that keeps trying to barge into Ivy's life.

I absolutely ADORE this entire series by Victoria Paige, the Asian Representation and the body positivity carry the series for me, especially when including the Bisexuality rep with her Cousin Xander. The side characters are so much fun, Bianca, Sera and Matteo are a riot and their parents including Ivy and Xander in everything just made my heart swell. I can't WAIT to see what happens with Bianca next!!
