♡♡♡ A Sweet, HOT Mafia Romance!!♡♡♡

Oh WOW, Cesare and Mere got my blood flowing!!

This book has all the things from the fun, schmexy times that are so HOT I wondered if I needed to turn my other fan on, to Vega's funny, dark personality playing video games with unknown individuals (does this make you nervous for her future??), to the action that never seemed to stop from about 30% to about 80% of the book - holy jeebus, if she would have JUST COMMUNICATED with SOMEONE!!

Mere is such a sweetheart with a broken soul, she's been doing the best she can to run the floral shop with virtually no help and no management - and she's been making it so much better than it was when Dennis was running it. She's just trying to move forward into adulthood with all these scars leftover from her childhood with her grandmother, all these new obsessive rules, but as she grows she becomes such a gorgeous double of who she was before.

Cesare is sent back to Maine by his father to the floral shop to figure out why the numbers aren't adding up, with the caveat not to have sex with any more married women! So of course he can't figure out the floral situation, and he falls hard for Mere almost instantly. She's sweet, innocent, clean, and has absolutely no idea what's really going on in the floral shop. When Cesare maneuvers Vega out of the way and hits Mere up HARD on the sofa I swear my temperature rose 3°!! It was so hot, and at the same time sweet, he didn't seem to want to just take advantage and run, so of course when Mere starts giving him the brush off Cesare has no idea what to do other than try to do the right thing this time. Will Mere and Cesare actually find their way together, or is he going to screw this whole thing up and contine being as bitter as his brother Gav?!?

I adored the side characters! Gav is hilarious with his bitter, grouchy self. I don't know what he expected except to keep reaping all the little brother work.😂 Vega is so self-assured, it's very hard to see where the damage her parents left her with lies, except in a dingy, sloppy bedroom that she doesn't allow anyone into. Her protection of Mere by checking into Cesare and figuring out where he sits in the hierarchy of the Five Families was so sweet, my heart melted, and her butt-kicking skills in that she was the first one to do damage ☠️ when they were looking for Mere was completely unsurprising. 

The epilogue made my heart sing, as Jessica Gadziala's always do, only now I need more of Vega and ANT!! Why does he keep getting hurt??

Five out of five stars for a brilliant Mafia Romance, ones I always look forward to and cannot WAIT to get back to the Five Families!!
