☆☆☆His Quiet Agent is just fascinating!☆☆☆

   Fast paced and romantic, even without the sexy bits (don't go looking for them, this is an ace book - you won't find them.) I absolutely adored Arthur and The Alien.

Arthur is just an average agent trying to get away from being laterally promoted which is difficult when your own supervisor has to look up your name and file to figure out who put you in for the promotion. Not that Arthur is boring, but he's hidden a lot of his life because of the insanity in his formative years. The supervisors advice? Run the superbowl pool.

I found Arthur supremely interesting, a wide variety of languages, even if they're not useful to the agency, his ability to cook really good food (mostly Vietnamese), and his years spent playing referee between his Mother and his father's mistress, he has a story, it's just NOT a secret agent story.

Martin (The Alien) was harder to pick up on, but in the end made me bawl like a toddler when he made a comment about children are dangerous if they're confused or hurt, all adults are dangerous. I wanted to find whoever hurt him and shake them until they felt his pain.

The two men show their love at different times when they absolutely need each other, and in my mind that may be the most romantic connection of all. When you don't ask for that help, but your person just shows up because they know you need them more than you need anyone else.

This book explores all the aspects of sexuality between couples you can have, and I love the fact that neither of them really ever tried putting themselves in a box. Arthur might be demisexual, Martin might be asexual, but what they have between them is love in the head and love in their hearts, and in the end isn't that all that really matters?

5 stars for this new to me author! This definitely won't be my last book by Ada Maria Soto!
