♡♡♡Sweetly Beautiful!♡♡♡

Author A.M. Johnson has given us a beautiful novella with Syrus and Clay, so gorgeous I just wanted to quietly cry with it.

I love Syrus, his shyness, his introverted self, and difficulty looking into people's eyes, you know those characters that you find that remind yourself of you - but not in a bad way? Everything about Syrus makes me want to take him home and keep him as a friend I can have long conversations without touching, or expecting him to be a social creature.

Clay is so fun, but so sad at the same time. I'm glad he's been able to keep his friends throughout his pain. Ms. Johnson does an exquisite job of showing how the nuances of pain and social introspection can look different for everyone, but can still help each other find their one - or at least their one for right now.

Clay and Syrus are my first MM novel in quite a while, and I realized how much I missed seeing members of my community come together so sweetly and fall in love. 5 spectacularly lovely stars for To Whom It May Concern!!
