♡♡♡Finely Crafted Food & an Amazing Love for Family!♡♡♡

Southern Bombshell is like the great coming home for both the Beauregard and Kingsley family's.  I love both these families so, SO MUCH, and I've wanted Nate and Milly together forever, but more so I wanted each of them happy. 

This book gave us the greatest opportunity we've had throughout the series to get to know Nate and Silas Kingsley better, and of course almost the first thing you see is that Wilson is up to his same old tricks. Never content to do the hard work, Wilson is always looking for the easiest way out, and all the more enjoyment for him if that way will cause Nate more pain.

Milly Beauregard has set herself up to be the premier wedding planner of the South, but in the meantime she's burning her candle at both ends, and even she recognizes her well of ideas seems to be quickly drying up. She's bored with the day-to-day routine, never seeing anything fresh, and so stacked up busy she doesn't have any time to get away and encourage new growth.

When Nate and Milly hook back up over a business project with the potential to be more, it is so easy to see how well they mesh. Their vibe together is so peaceful, so good for one another, I kept hoping they'd see what was right in front of their eyes!!

This book takes Jessica Peterson's writing style and bumps it up three or four notches! The fun, sexy times, while never as OTT as Hank or Samuel, are sweet and HOT!! So very comforting in their own right, that two people know each other so well, and want the very best for each other. 

In the same vein, the food and whiskey is OUT OF THIS WORLD! I could close my eyes and taste the notes Silas and Nate were talking about in their newly bottled whiskey, and I swear I could smell through the open doors to Samuals house the banked fire, and the smoked oysters. 

The love, romance, heat, and appetite for finely crafted food and drink is always at the forefront of Jessica Peterson's writing, as is her directions toward family, both blood and found. It is one of the things that makes her a favorite of mine, and will always keep me coming back for more!
