☆☆☆Gah, Insta-love is bliss with Alice and Morris!!☆☆☆

 Broken Sparrow is splendid! Morris is the perfect kind of MC VP, not too gruff, not too angry, just waiting (unknowingly) for the perfect lady to fall into his lap. Alice is an excellent representation of what a beaten down woman can look like when she's forgotten who to trust, and where to run next. I loved the way she cared for her daughter, and didn't give up on the idea that Zoe should be allowed to be a little girl.

From their meet-cute I could just tell Alice was what Morris needed, and that Morris would do whatever he could to protect her from her narcissistic, abusive ex-husband. I won't lie, I was a little stunned by the "insta-love" feeling, figuring it would take Alice a while to warm up to Morris, but it didn't feel put on, or like she was struggling through past demons in that area so it felt ok.

I love that outside the issues with Alice's ex-husband, Broken Sparrow was very low angst, and that was exactly what I needed right now. 

Broken Sparrow is a very well told age-gap, forced proximity, MC Romance with low angst and a very sweet ending. I can't wait to read Broken Dove next!
