You would never know from looking at him though, all he seems to do is continue to take care of his family, the abused horses he rescues, and Tatum when she flees a particularly nasty scene with one of her attackers to find him. Can he convince Tatum he's been waiting 15 years for her to return to him, that there's been no other love for him, and he's FINALLY willing to put her first?

This was my first book by Stephanie Rowe, and it certainly won't be my last. The luscious elements of Tatum and Brody's coming back together were absolutely perfect, and the suspense filled storyline was both creepy and treacherous. 

I loved all the side characters, Brody's family that he's kept around him all these years were both funny and adventurous. Tatum's friends Ace and Jackson were an amazing addition to a cowboy romance, and not one I've often seen.
