Seriously in LOVE with Priest and Bea in Giana's Dead Man Walking!!

Giana Darling broke open a whole new side of DARK with Dead Man Walking!!

Priest and Bea's  relationship has a kind of one step forward, two step back momentum for a while, but it is always beautiful, dark, and dangerous (sometimes for both of them.)

Bea has known for what feels like forever to her that Priest is the man she wants beyond anything, she feels him reaching for her even as he's trying to repel her every time they get too close. She knows she could help heal the broken pieces of his soul, but still, she worries that he may never be able to soften to her.

Priest doesn't believe he has a soul worth saving, and after a life so filled with horror and pain, really, who could blame him? He worries that by allowing Bea close to him, he'll eventually destroy her. He could crush her small body with one punch, or one push. But he finds that every time he tries to push Bea away, he only regrets it later.

Weaving in and around Priest and Bea's dark, growing love story is one of the darkest, creepiest bad guys Giana Darling has ever given us! I was stunned by the curves, and variations in the plot line and within the growing story of The Fallen Men MC. This is no longer just the local MC battling it out against the police, or local government. The Fallen are facing a battle after this that I'm not sure they're prepared for.

Giana's writing over the last several years has grown in breadth and substance, her ability to share with me her love for all her Fallen Men and their Old Ladies, and make me love each of them no matter how unrepentant they may be is an absolute treasure, and I am honored to be able to read an early copy. The beauty present in the darkness between Bea and Priest cannot be denied, and deserves all 5 stars!
