Wow, I never saw that coming!

Beau receives news on his inauguration day that he could have gone his whole life not knowing. Then rather than manning up and telling Savannah something he should have said years ago, he decimates her verbally.

Savannah has been waiting for the sky to fall for eight years, nothing stays secret forever, and when the final piece crumbles Savannah thinks she's done. After all she's lived with the ugly words and looks from the town her whole life, this isn't any different is it? The problem now though is that instead of Savannah fighting alone, she's trapped Beau into helping her, and she would give anything to protect him from the ugly she's been fighting for years.

This book has so many of my favourite tropes from friends to lovers, marriage of convenience, and continuous suspense. Someone is going to force Savannah to leave town if it's the last thing he does, but it was the last person I was expecting, and when he goes down he has all the information he's been collecting for years to take his puppet master out with him.

Can Beau convince Savannah that he didn't marry her just to protect her and will Savannah finally let everyone else win by giving up, and give in by leaving town? Just when you think everything is hammered down and everyone is happy, Natasha Madison throws her own kind of curveball! Romantic suspense, some really HOT sexy times, and all the charm and side eye available in every small town! I can't WAIT to see what happens next!
